Imperial Energy Services won the coveted ‘Student Placement’ accolade at the 2014 Northern Star Business Awards on Thursday 25 September.
Organised by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, the annual event celebrated innovation, success and the achievements of individuals, companies and organisations from throughout the Grampian area.
Imperial Energy Services was nominated for the award by Sonja Cammaert, who completed a year-long placement with the company as part of her management course at Robert Gordon University.
Speaking about why she nominated Imperial Energy Services, Sonja said: “Imperial Energy Services has been fully committed to my personal and professional development and provided me with the knowledge and skills which will help to further my career. My colleagues made me feel very welcome and the overall placement has been an extremely rewarding experience.”
Collecting the award on behalf of Imperial Energy Services, Kees Sterk, Head of IT said: “To be recognised for our graduate programme is a huge honour.
